When a robber broke into my apartment, he was not able to take a lot of my things as I had just transferred and most of my valuables were not delivered yet. But he did take my newly bought foldable computer desk. It was a good thing that I did not pick up my computer set from my sister yet.
The following day, I set out to look for a new computer desk. I badly needed one as I was finishing a project for a client. I wanted to buy something that was similar to the desk that was stolen, but I could not find one. At the last store that I walked into, I finally found what I was looking for.
I bought a rectangular computer desk so that I’d have enough space to work on. And since I was planning to work with two monitors in the near future, I also bought a dual monitor stand. The monitor stand is a good investment because it supports two displays. It also gives me the freedom to tilt the monitors up and down, and to swivel or rotate the displays.
Additionally, the dual monitor stand frees up a lot of desk space. It comes with a cable organizer that I can use for keeping monitor cables neatly arranged.
With my new monitor stand, work becomes easier. I can easily toggle or switch between applications. Multi-tasking is also easier to do with the dual monitor stand.
I never thought I’d say this, but I sometimes feel that the robbery is a blessing in disguise. I mean, if my foldable computer desk wasn’t stolen, I wouldn’t discover the wonders of dual monitor stands. I wouldn’t have fun working. But since I now have my own dual monitor stand, I couldn’t be happier!
